
From February 3rd to 6th, it took place at the Sesi Gymnasium, in Osasco/SP, the dispute of the National Judo Selective in the under-18 and under-21 age classes. The competition aims at the process of formation of the Brazilian National Team in the respective classes and the State of Ceará was not left out of the dispute.
The athletes took part in the dispute:
Under-18 (-50 kg): Regivan de Abreu Firmino - Associação Resgate Judô para Todos
Under-18 (-55 kg): Pedro Henrique da Silva Gomes - Resgate Judo for All Association
Under-18 (-90 kg): Josiel Sousa Benvindo - Resgate Judo for All Association
Under-18 (-40 kg): Cristina Evelly Rodrigues de Oliveira - Resgate Judo for All Association
Under-18 (-48 kg): Giullia Paola Gomes de Sena - Gláucia Lima Institute
Under-21 (-60 kg): Vanderson Nunes de Sousa - Resgate Judo for All Association
Under-21 (+78kg): Katia RIbeiro da Silva Alves - BNB Clube de Fortaleza.
The Ceará Judo Federation (FECJU) congratulates all the athletes who participated of the competition, in special the athletes: Katia Alves - 3rd place; Cristina Oliveira - 3rd place and Josiel Benvindo - 7th place. Both classified for the National Meeting, a process of formation of the base selection of the Brazilian Judo Confederation (CBJ).
