The CBJ's National Coordination of Veterans promoted, from February 4th to 7th, the first National Veterans Field Training of 2022. The activity took place in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo, and offered the participants the opportunity to train in the same facilities used by the best judokas in Brazil, since the place has become, in recent years, the main training center for the Brazilian judo team.
The training schedule had the participation of great teachers, among them Uichiro Umakakeba, renowned teacher who has trained several athletes, such as world champion and Olympic medalist Tiago Camilo. The agenda will also have the participation of judokas who are references among the Veterans, such as Bahejt Hayek, Max Trombini, and sensei Orlando Hirakawa. It was also thinking about strengthening the mental aspect of the veteran judokas that the coordination team, led by Cristian Cezário, invited Tatiana Neder and Adriana Medeiros to give a lecture about the "Champion's Mind".
